AAMAS 16th Annual Conference

Our 2010 annual conference, "Expanding Horizons in Medical Auditing", will be in sunny Florida on April 22 and 23. It will be held at the beautiful Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Dr. John Zelem, Senior Physician Advisor and Director of Regulatory Affairs for Executive Health Resources, is a renowned industry author and is a well-known motivational speaker. He presents often to professional and public/patient audiences on health and wellness, personal development, and leadership and success.

Conference general session topics: APC’s and CCI Edits; hospital acquired conditions and never events; and, billing compliance.

Breakout topics: negotiation skills; cath lab coding and electronic medical record integration; supply billing; developing an internal audit program; revenue cycle overview; high crimes and misdemeanors; and, documentation, coding, and billing for respiratory therapy services and for open heart perfusionist services.

And new for 2010: A "One Day" price for the conference (not including the reception). Members may register for one day of the conference for $275 through March 27 and for $300 after that date. Non-members may register for one day of the conference for $350 through March 27 and for $375 after that date.
